Grew up with these 2 superstars albums in the Early 60s thru mid 70s always on the Family tube stereo console. I Still have bunch a of those old LPs. Jerry was one of greatest finger style guitar virtuoso’s. Jerry could sing real smooth like Marty too. One of his Albums was real smooth songs almost reminiscent of Sinatra. Both were great songwriters. RIP Boys❤️🇺🇸

Marty Robbins was a great singer, song writer and a great family man. He came from a family that was a whole lot like our family. They were of poor descent. Don’t make him of anything he wasn’t he was a GREAT MAN.

You could see the admiration & respect they had for each other simply wonderful.

What he did in beginning, and they understood what to do, is amazing to me how some cant do this. I could pick up an instrument and roll. Just off what he did. A known instrument anyway.

Marty is unique in that the music from each period (50's, 60's, and 70's) were equally good.
